Introducing the ASEAN Green Economy Landscape 2026
Rapid growth and disproportionate climate risk, landing at the same time.
This year we have changed the report's name, from Southeast Asia Green Economy Landscape to ASEAN Green Economy Landscape.
It is a small change in wording, but a deliberate one: we believe the grouping itself, not just the countries within it, has a bigger role to play in building the region's green economy in the years ahead with shared standards, infrastructure and markets, rather than separate national efforts moving at separate speeds.
Singapore's incoming ASEAN chairmanship in 2027, with collective resilience as one of its stated priorities, is an early sign of that ambition taking shape.
